| Buffalo Shotokan Karate Club members both past and present attended a Brick Dedication Ceremony on June 27, 2012 at the Hospice Foundation in honor of our founding teacher, Sensei Bill Ruyechan. Sensei passed away last August, and BSKC members wanted a permanent memorial for him at the Hospice campus in Cheektowaga. A club donation last year provided for a permanent memorial in Sensei Ruyechan's honor. The evening was a bittersweet memory of our beloved teacher; we remembered his passing, his teaching and enjoyed great stories of our experiences with him. |
